Jisc Collections supports its negotiation and licensing activity via a managed and directed research programme to ensure:

  • we achieve the very best outcomes in our negotiation and licensing work market trends and
  • sector intelligence (both in the UK and globally) are identified, tracked and evaluated to
  • inform our strategic priorities and negotiations advances in the scholarly communications
  • environment drive the development of appropriate and effective business and licensing models 
  • that opportunities are seized and risks mitigated on behalf of our members

SCOAP3 SCOAP3 is a one-of-a-kind partnership of thousands of libraries, key funding agencies and research centers in three dozen countries. Working with leading publishers, SCOAP3 has converted key journals in the field of High-Energy Physics to Open Access at no cost for authors.
